Everyone's 'Mad' about Christina Hendricks – but she just can't find a dress
She has the hottest figure in Hollywood, hailed as a body icon de jour. But while Christina Hendrick's curves are coveted by women everywhere, it seems designers are yet to embrace her voluptuous shape.
The Mad Men star, who has hypnotised fans as sexy secretary Joan Harris on the show, has spoken out about the difficulties she faces finding clothes that cater to her UK size 14 figure (US size 12).
"People have been saying some nice, wonderful things about me," Christina said in a recent interview. "Yet not one designer in town will loan me a dress."

"They only lend out a size 0 or 2. So I'm still struggling for someone to give me a darn dress."
As a top US actress who was recently named sexiest woman alive, Christina should be expected to be top of designers' hit lists. But it seems the fashion world still has a way to go before it fully embraces the hourglass figure.
That said, the industry does seem to be moving towards promoting a fuller body shape – Chanel and John Paul Gaultier recently used plus-sized model Crystal Renn in their campaigns (24-year-old Crystal measures up as a UK size 16 or a US 14).
Despite her sartorial struggles, 35-year-old Christina has still managed to wow on the red carpet.
The flame-haired beauty – a fan of L'Wren Scott's dresses - most recently impressed at the 62nd Emmys, spilling out of a low-cut lavender Zac Posen gown that flaunted her ample curves.
And she looked ravishing in a red Carolina Herrera number when she attended the 2010 SAG Awards back in January.
