Kate Bosworth dazzled in yellow at the premiere of documentary Jane on Monday night The Superman Returns actress attended a special preview screening of the National Geographic project at the Hollywood Bowl, which tells the story of British primatologist Jane Goodall. Kate led the celebrities on the red carpet, and shone in a lemon-yellow chiffon dress with an asymmetrical hemline from Preen by Thornton Bregazzi. She accessorised the look with crystal embellished silver sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti and jewellery from Irene Neuwirth and Anita Ko.

"Representing the yellow border tonight," Kate captioned a snap of herself posted to her Instagram page following the event, referencing National Geographic's famous logo.

Animal rights and environmental activist Alicia Silverstone walked the yellow carpet at the venue in a sophisticated look comprised of black trousers, a navy blazer and black high heels, while actress Victoria Justice stood out in a pair of cropped blue jeans, a colourful patterned shirt and military-influence black jacket.

Hollywood stalwart Jamie Lee Curtis attended the premiere too, looking chic in a tailored black suit and matching suede flats, which she accessorised with her signature black-framed glasses. Suits actress Gina Torres opted for a much more casual vibe, sporting loose black trousers, a short-sleeved top and a dark grey beanie hat. Reality TV star Whitney Port made one of her first appearances since giving birth to her son Sonny in July, and looked elegant in a two-piece cream knit suit which she matched with a black leather biker jacket and black purse. She also wore a gold necklace featuring her son's name.

Meanwhile, guest of honour Jane also stopped to pose for photographers, and wore a black ensemble matched with a scarf printed with images of monarch butterflies.

Ali Larter, Judd Apatow, Jane Lynch, Rainn Wilson and Ty Burrell were also in attendance.

Directed by Brett Morgen, Jane will also screen at the London Film Festival on Friday and at the Chicago International Film Festival later in the month.
