Tess Holliday would love to model for Alessandro Michele at Gucci. Plus-size model Tess has recently penned her first book, The Not So Subtle Art of Being A Fat Girl: Loving the Skin You're In, in which she details her early life when she was bullied for her larger frame, her strained relationship with her father and finding fame as the first model of her build.

While she's landed some major campaigns during her years in fashion, there is still one brand Tess is dying to work with.

"I have a few, but I guess the one that I would love to model for would be Gucci," she said. "Because I love Alexander McQueen, I love Vivienne Westwood, those were two of my favourites because my style is a bit eccentric. And I love Dolce & Gabbana, because I love feminine and edgy, but Gucci, the past four seasons, they've just put out incredible stuff.

"They go up to 2X in men's and they dress Beth Ditto, so I feel like it's not a stretch."

"I would die and go to heaven. Or hell... Wherever, I don't know," she added with a smile.

Tess has always loved the work of European designers and fashion houses and she's excited to be modelling the at the Plus Size Fashion Days in Hamburg, Germany at the end of September.

She'll be walking for Studio 8 among others and can't wait to strut her stuff on the catwalk.

"I'm excited to be going, because A) I've always wanted to go to Germany, B) I love pretzels. C) I love beer and cheese and sausage," she laughed.

"I'm just really excited to be my size and to be walking internationally in Germany, because I find that a lot of my favourite designers are U.K. and European designers and they're not given the same spotlight and attention."
