HELLO! Fashion Monthly's Editor's letter: Find out what's in our new September/October issue

The Fashion Special is out in stores now!

by hellofashion.com /

It’s an extra-special issue this month – not only is it our AW17 fashion special but we’ve got two different covers for you to collect. Our cover star Arizona Muse is, without question, one of the defining beauties of the decade, so we’ve chosen our two favourite images from our exclusive photoshoot (p48).

Arizona Muse is the cover star for September's issue

The Tuscon- born model is known for being something of a chameleon – she’s almost unrecognisable in Chanel’s SS17 campaign – and our photographer Kate Davis- Macleod captured both her sultry and fun sides. Arizona is embarking on an exciting new phase of life – newly married, she is throwing herself into promoting sustainability in fashion, with some exciting projects in the pipeline.

It’s all about making statements this season – designers have opted to celebrate strong women, who are unafraid to embrace clashing colours and prints and blend together different cultures. The 80s nostalgia wave shows no signs of subsiding as shoulder pads, boxy shapes and wide-leg trousers get an update to reflect the modern working woman’s lifestyle. We tap into the latest trends on page 17.

Continuing with the 80s theme, we’ve had fun with our beauty shoot this month (p98). The autumn runways were awash with metallic eye shadows, bright pink lips (a la Sade shoots of the era), exaggerated blush cheeks and clumpy lashes. Dare to be bold!
