Janet Street-Porter has a fabulous sense of style and is often spotted out and about in vibrant prints and colour pop pieces, becoming something of a fashion icon in her own right. This was certainly evident this week after the 70-year-old stepped out on Loose Women in a cool planet print maxi dress on Tuesday. The navy blue design featured a scoop neckline, cuffed sleeves and cinched in at the waist, revealing her petite frame. Adorned with rockets, planets and stars, the fun design looked fabulous on Janet – who as always, proved that age is just a number. The TV star teamed her dress with a pair of bright red trainers, which added a cool, athleisure look to her outfit.

Shortly after the show, fans were quick to comment on Loose Women’s Instagram account to find out where her dress was from. One wrote: "Where is Janet’s dress from please @loosewomen," while another asked: "Please could you tell me where Janet’s dress is from." A third added: "Janet’s dress is lovely." Responding on her Twitter page, Janet later revealed: "My dress today from Other Stories, 6 months ago x."

Retailing at £95, Janet’s fashion-forward 'Galaxy Maxi Dress' was designed in Paris, and is described to "make heads turn." And while that particular design is now sold out, the popular Scandinavian store has plenty of other offerings in stock, ranging from star print summer dresses to whimsical smocks.

Janet has previously spoken out about her love of fashion, telling The Telegraph her secret to dressing for her shape. "I love fashion, but it’s important to keep in mind what works and what doesn’t work for you and your shape." The Loose Women star is also an advocate for comfortable clothing, adding: "Maybe I’m admitting that I’m old, but I really like comfy clothes.

"I also love trainers, but when I wore trainers for the first time on Loose Women, it caused a bit of a stir. Some viewers were positive, but others just thought I was a total slob. The funny thing is, trainers are trendy again, so I don’t get any flack for wearing them now."
