Stella Maxwell recalls moment she sang with Lady Gaga

The model and singer met at the Victoria's Secret show last year

Stella Maxwell sang with Lady Gaga as she was getting ready for the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Gaga was one of the performers at the annual lingerie spectacle in November and was joined on the bill by Bruno Mars and The Weeknd.

While the Angels were getting ready, the popstar popped backstage to get them all fired up for the show ahead.

"(Last year) Lady Gaga came backstage when we were still getting ready and getting our make-up done. And I think I was with (make-up artist) Tom Pecheux, getting my eyeliner finished, and she came backstage and started singing her new song, that we were going to walk to," Stella recalled to Vogue Australia. "(We were) singing in our pink robes ... and everyone was so happy and singing along. And (Lady Gaga) was hugging us all and it was like a really nice experience."

It's not just the musical A-listers who make the show special for the models, with the 27-year-old explaining how the "unique" experience bonds all of the girls together.

The model recalled the moment she sang alongside the pop star

"There are not many girls who get to do it and we're all friendly and we all have fun with them at the show," she smiled. "You're walking with amazing musicians and you get to meet them and hang out with them.

"It's something that it's even hard to describe in, a few words. It's one of the best jobs to ever have. They celebrate you and they put you on a pedestal. So I think it's a special thing and I just got really lucky to have it."
