Princess Beatrice and Eugenie are known for their fashion-forward sense of style, and certainly didn’t disappoint on Wednesday evening at the V&A Summer Party. Beatrice, 28, opted for a head turning semi-sheer lace panel dress, which she teamed with a pair of leg-lengthening velvet heels and a contrasting metallic clutch. Eugenie, 27, also looked fabulous in a patterned mini-dress. The summer-ready number was adorned with vibrant hues of red, yellow and blue, and featured a halter-neck and was teamed with black stilettos.

Both princesses wore their hair down. Beatrice’s long, glossy auburn hair tumbled effortlessly onto her shoulders, while Eugenie’s was styled in a sweeping side-parting. For make-up, both girls outlined their large eyes with black liner and lashings of mascara, enhanced their cheekbones with a sweep of bronzer and finished off their beauty-looks with a bold lip.

Also in attendance at the star-studded summer party were Liz Hurley, who looked striking in a form-fitting red midi-dress, supermodel Erin O’Connor, who opted for a colourful print maxi-dress, and Samantha Cameron, who kept in classy in a black trouser suit.

Both sisters made another serious fashion statement last week, as they joined the rest of the Royal Family at the Trooping the Colour parade on Saturday in co-coordinating outfits. Dressed in pretty floral-print ensembles, the royals looked impeccably elegant as they rode along in the carriage together. Beatrice wore a zip-front design which she accessorised with a co-ordinating pale blue and white boater-style hat while Eugenie chose a sleeveless dress and completed her look with a tilted hat that featured ultra-feminine flower adornments.

Meanwhile, back in May, Princess Beatrice looked striking in a show-stopping blue maxi-skirt at Diseal’s Child At Heart fashion show. The design featured intricate gold embroidery detailing and was teamed with a simple blue long-sleeved top and heels. Beatrice attended the charity event with her mother Sarah Ferguson, who also looked sensational in a floor-length emerald gown.
