Helen Mirren graced the red carpet in serious style when she attended the Monte Carlo TV Festival on Tuesday. The 71-year-old kept it classy in a vibrant sunflower print dress. The form-fitting number was adorned with a bold floral print in hues of sunshine yellow and forest green and featured three-quarter length sleeves as well as a lace trimmed hem. The Queen actress teamed the dress with a pair of black leg-lengthening heels and kept accessories to a minimum with just a simple silver chain watch and an assortment of rings.

Beauty-wise, Helen wore her short platinum blonde hair in a sleek side parting. For make-up, she outlined her eyes with black liner and lashings of mascara, added a sweep of bronzer to her cheeks and perfected her look with a taupe-toned lip.

Over the years, the award-winning actress has proved she is a veteran when it comes to red carpet fashion. Back in 2016 at the amfAR Gala, she made a serious statement in a sequin embellished Temperley London floor length gown which featured a full skirt and sheer long sleeves. The show-stopping dress ensured that all eyes were on her and looked fabulous teamed with a box sparkly box clutch and diamond choker.

More recently at a New York charity gala for The Stuttering Association For The Young (SAY), Helen worked a cool black and gold outfit, teaming a black jumper with a floor-length metallic gold pleat skirt. Helen styled her short hair in loose curls, adding an ultra-feminine touch to her look.

Helen has previously spoken out about how age shouldn’t play a part when wanting to have fun with fashion and beauty, telling Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard on ITV's Good Morning Britain: "We get more knowledge about what’s good for you, what’s bad for you, what works for you, what doesn’t work for you and so I don’t see why as an older person you should be excluded from the fun of all of that.”
