Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is launching a range of Beatles-inspired clothing via his Pretty Green clothing company. The Fab Four fanatic plans to honour the 50th anniversary of the release of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album with a new collection of coats, jackets, shirts and T-shirts.

The Pretty Green founder insists it has been an ''absolute joy'' to create the line. "The Beatles have been a massive inspiration to me, both for music and fashion," Liam says.

The collection, featuring 28 new items, will launch in August. Pretty Green CEO Richard Ralph tells NME magazine, "As a company of Beatles fans, it's been a real privilege for everyone at Pretty Green to work on this project with The Beatles & Apple Corps. Given the previous collaborations we've done, as soon as the opportunity arose it immediately felt right for us.

"Using such a celebrated album as inspiration has allowed us some real creativity and we're really pleased with the final collection which will hopefully bring a bit of swinging 60's psychedelia to life."

All items will be available at Pretty Green stores across the U.K. and in Japan. Fans can also pick up Sgt. Pepper duds on the store's website.

Meanwhile, Liam revealed last week his new solo single is "coming". Responding to a fan's tweet, asking when new music would be released, he said: "It's coming me lion patience no rush it's not like there's much competition out there you just relax brother (sic)."

He previously announced in a 19 March tweet that the single will be called Not For Sale.
