Chloe Sevigny has teamed up with a luxury fashion resale website to curate her own collection of vintage pieces. The American Horror Story actress has partnered with online retailer Vestiaire Collective to help launch its new vintage section, to fit alongside its existing clothing and accessory categories.

As a lover of all things retro, Chloe has put together a selection of her own favourite items, such as a pair of Maison Martin Margiela legging boots from 2000 and a 1960s pleather Courreges jacket. "At first they asked me to pick 20 things, and instead I chose around 100," the blonde star laughed to Vogue.com. "Then, of course, I wanted to buy everything."

Discussing her own outlook on fashion and style Chloe added: "I grew up having one object that was well made, rather than however many. It was always about quality over quantity." She also shared her own advice for buying vintage, urging shoppers to begin with one category or brand rather than going overboard. Noting it's a challenge to hold back on spending, the 42-year-old admitted it'd be "dangerous" for her to have a desk job as she'd spend the day scrolling through websites.

Her pieces range in price from $75 (£58) to $4,500 (£3,490) and are available to purchase now. Speaking in another interview on Vestiaire Collective's own website, Chloe listed some of the pieces she treasures most in her wardrobe.

"There are a lot of pieces from high school I value the most," she said. "They are the most sentimental. There's a T-shirt I wore in (indie film) Kids and the bunny ears I made for (movie) Gummo and the dress I wore to the Oscars. Things that were monumental at different times in my life. A Helmut Lang rubber and lace dress. I still have my first Margiela sweater and it's all torn up. Those sentimental pieces I will never get rid of."
