On Wednesday evening, Bella and Gigi Hadid stepped out in New York in colourful laid-back attire, that reminisced the nineties fashion scene. Gigi, 22, rocked an oversized turquoise MTV jumper teamed with a black turtleneck top, frayed jeans and a pair of black and white platform trainers. Wearing her hair in a laid-back bun, she teamed her outfit with some miniature shades. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Bella opted for a statement blue gilet, leather trousers and black and red biker boots. To accessorise, she wore a Parisian style beret and oversized shades.

Earlier in the week, the sisters enjoyed an evening dressing up at the 2017 Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in NYC. On the red carpet, Bella made the ultimate fashion statement, which saw her wear a sheer black crocheted off-the-shoulder bodysuit by Alexander Wang. Gigi also looked stylish in a striking champagne coloured asymmetrical Tommy Hilfiger dress with a tulle skirt. The design highlighted her model physique beautifully as she posed for the cameras on her way to the venue.

Bella, the face of Dior Makeup, recently opened up to Hello! about her close relationship with her sister at the launch of the new Dior Pump’n’Volume mascara at Selfridges. "Gigi is my best friend and I love her to death. It's cool to be able to call her and not talk about work - or talk about work." Discussing the benefits of having an older sibling in the industry, she continued: “Gigi has been through everything I am going through now because she has been in the business for a little bit longer than I have. To be able to get advice on things is so great."
