Behold the magic that is Disney, for now you can dress like a princess thanks to the brand new collection that's just launched into The Dress Shop at Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs in Orlando. The collection is made up of a number of beautiful, vintage-style prom dresses and matching accessories inspired by popular Disney characters, including Minnie Mouse, Alice in Wonderland and Snow White. You will also find a few designs that give a firm nod to the famous park’s most popular rides, such as the Hollywood Tower of Terror and The Enchanted Tiki Room.

The vintage-style cocktail dresses are inspired by popular Disney characters

Replicating the oh-so-flattering 1950s silhouette, there’s The Mad Tea Party dress inspired by Alice in Wonderland which has been fashioned in a pretty, teacup-print fabric in pastel tones, and a Minnie Mouse design which emulates the iconic character with playful red and white polka dots.

STORY: Be the best-dressed guest this summer

In terms of more subtle pieces, the navy It’s a Small World dress pays tribute to the popular ride and is decorated with a vibrant floral print, while a pink and orange leaf-printed Pocahontas dress is bang on-trend in this season’s hottest shades. Matching accessories include elegant gloves, bags and pretty fascinators, ideal for impending summer parties and weddings.

Merchandiser Donna Sorrow spoke of the collection over on the Disney Park’s blog, saying: "We designed The Dress Shop collection for guests who want to emulate their favourite Disney characters or theme park attractions in a fun, retro way. These items aren’t costumes, rather the collection contains perfect outfits for guests who have a passion for Disney style. The dress styles are classic in design and contain incredible little details. “Yet all the styles have modern fits which make them wonderful outfits to wear when visiting Disney Parks," she continued.

The dresses are currently available to buy at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, with prices beginning at £80.
