Inside Amal Clooney's vintage maternity wardrobe

She is one of the most-watchedwomen in the world and can afford to shop anywhere she likes, not to mentionhaving couture fashion houses clambering to dress her. But Amal Clooney notonly doesn't employ a fashion stylist, but she has also been doing most of hershopping quietly and discreetly online at British brand WilliamVintage. The Lebanese-born lawyer has been enamoured with the online vintage shop for two years now, constantly rotating her wardrobe with one-off pieces from the collection, which is owned and stocked by British couture expert William Banks-Blaney.

The star is expecting twinswith megastar actor George Clooney, 55, and style-watchers can’t wait to seewhat maternity looks she will be rocking. On Wednesday the lawyer lookedbusiness-like in a black two-piece 1959 suit by Yves Saint Laurent fromWilliamVintage, teamed with a baby blue leather tote. The chic outfit showedoff just a hint of her neat bump as she headed off in the sunshine to addressthe UN.

Amal kicked off the yearwearing the brand to the World Economic Forum in Davos alongside some of thebiggest talkers and leaders in the world. The stunning International humanrights lawyer, 39, outshone her fellow attendees in a vintage, sequinned 1963 Chanel gown with dark green pumps and a midnight blue velvet clutch bag.

She wore a red, white and blueMary Farrin dress with puff sleeves from 1975 when she spoke at the Foundationfor Justice launch in mid January.

And last week she was pictureperfect again in a WV monochrome Sixties swing dress with matching overcoat andoversize shades. The leggy star arrived at the Ritz hotel in Paris in theelegant get-up, clutching the ultimate accessory by her side – dashing husbandGeorge Clooney.

Perhaps the most stand-outdress that Amal has ever bought from WV was the black sequin Saint Laurentdress from 1981 that she wore on the red carpet in Berlin in February last year.

Another find from the vintage brand which launched in 2009, the silk, bead andmicro sequins gown featured a transparent chiffon trailing overskirt that madeher look like a Disney princess.

"Amal has impeccabletaste and understands fashion perfectly," said Banks-Blaney. Other WilliamVintage clientsinclude Victoria Beckham, Tilda Swinton, Emma Thompson, Helena Bonham Carter,Gillian Anderson, Lily Allen and Lana del Rey.
