Gigi Hadid has been immortalised in plastic as a Barbie doll in honour of her second capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger, which debuts on Wednesday in Los Angeles. In a series of fun posts shared on the toy brand's Instagram account, the Gigi doll joins original Barbie to explore Venice Beach on rollerblades, both wearing matching Tommy Jeans T-shirts and denim hotpants.

The toy brand did a similar promotion for Gigi's first collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger in September, showing Barbie posing in miniature looks from the collection next to the pier where the pop-up show took place.

Gigi has since designed a second California-inspired SS17 collection with the fashion label, which will be instantly available to shop after the fashion show in Venice Beach on Wednesday. Described as a tribute to the "70s Cali dream girl", the range features embroidered denim, colourful co-ordinates, along with varsity style jackets that are sure to be a hit.

Much like the first collection, each piece is something Gigi would wear herself, with the varsity jackets and distressed denim sure to be staples in her spring-summer wardrobe. The model previously admitted she was thrilled to have been given the opportunity to collaborate with Tommy Hilfiger, so no doubt will be excited to return for another collection.

"I never thought I would be asked to design a capsule collection, so it still feels like a dream that Tommy approached me to collaborate," Gigi said when her first collection was announced. "His company is one that I genuinely love and have been a fan of for my entire life, and Tommy is the easiest, most fun person to work with."
