Victoria Beckham made a bold fashion statement as she returned to work in New York on Monday. The fashion designer, who is busy preparing for her New York Fashion Week show, stepped out in two different vibrant ensembles to attend a series of business meetings in Manhattan.

Continuing her love affair with colour blocking, Victoria first stepped out in a red knitted longline jumper and midi skirt, which she layered over a clashing blue shirt. The 42-year-old wore brown heels and her signature oversized sunglasses to complete the look, which was all from her own fashion collection.

Just hours later Victoria changed into an equally eye-catching ensemble – this time showcasing a tangerine coloured dress which featured black buttons across the neckline and waist. The mother-of-four swapped her shoes for another pair in the same style, but this time in a clashing blue hue.

Victoria has continued to surprise with her sartorial choices over the past months, trading her famed all-black outfits for colour blocking and bright shades of yellow, cobalt blue and tangerine. The designs are from her SS17 collection, which are now available to pre-order.

Meanwhile the designer is currently busy finalising her AW17 collection, which she will present as part of New York Fashion Week on Sunday. Victoria is expected to be supported by her husband David Beckham and their children at the show, following their front row appearances at her other runway presentations.

David is currently in London with their four children Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and five-year-old Harper while Victoria is busy working stateside. The former England footballer has kept a low profile after private emails he had allegedly written were leaked at the weekend. A spokesperson for the star released a statement to HELLO! saying that the emails, which reportedly showed the star requesting the charity UNICEF pay for his flights and expressing anger over having missed out on a Knighthood, had been "doctored".

"This story is based on outdated material taken out of context from hacked and doctored private emails from a third party server and gives a deliberately inaccurate picture," the statement read. "David Beckham and UNICEF have had a powerful partnership in support of children for over 15 years. The David Beckham 7 Fund specifically has raised millions of pounds and helped millions of vulnerable children around the world."
