The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, once again proved herself to be a great ambassador for British fashion as she stepped out for an official engagement in Wiltshire on Thursday. The royal wrapped up against the chill in a stylish houndstooth wrap coat from Reiss.

The £325 Rubik coat is available to buy now in sizes 4-14, but will no doubt sell out fast as "the Kate effect" comes into play, and fans strive to recreate her classically chic winter style.

The Duchess is a big fan of the high street store and previously donned an electric blue Reiss coat to the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup in September.

Kate paired her coat with black court shoes and an Emilia Wickstead dress - another favourite designer that she and sister Pippa have championed on several occasions. The aquamarine long-sleeved dress with pleated skirt was previously worn by Kate on her royal tour of New Zealand in April 2014.

As patron of Action on Addiction, Kate was in Wiltshire to visit the charity's Centre for Addiction Treatment Studies in Warminster. The Duchess has been focusing her autumn engagements on foster care and mental health in young people, but on Thursday's visit she chose to highlight another issue close to her heart – supporting those who struggle with addiction.

Kate's visit to the centre follows her appearance at the ICAP annual charity day with husband Prince William on Wednesday. The 33-year-old perfected the art of power dressing as she turned trader for the day in a teal LK Bennett suit that she had worn once before in 2012.
