Looking for office fashion inspiration? We have some for you – in the form of the impossibly stylish Duchess of Cambridge! The royal, née Kate Middleton, perfected the art of power dressing as she stepped out for an official engagement on Wednesday.

Kate looked chic in the recycled number

Turning broker for the morning with her husband Prince William, Kate wore a recycled teal LK Bennett skirt suit as she answered phone calls and closed deals at the annual ICP Charity Day in London. The 33-year-old had previously worn the suit in 2012 on a trip to Leicester as part of the 2012 Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. The outfit consists of the Davina dress and the Jude peplum jacket, both from the highstreet brand.

The peplum detail added a ladylike touch to the outfit

As in 2012, Kate paired the look with her black suede Angel shoes from Episode. But instead of sporting the black leather belt by Alexander McQueen, she cinched in her waist with the matching teal belt that originally came with the jacket from LK Bennett.

At the engagement, the royal couple were using their best powers of persuasion to help raise cash for a variety of charities, including SkillForce, of which William is patron and SportsAid and Place2Be, of which Kate is patron.Among the famous faces who have taken part in the past are Dame Helen Mirren, Gemma Arterton, Damian Lewis, John Major, Jon Snow, Jamie Oliver, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Millie Mackintosh, Barbara Windsor, Craig Revel Horwood and JLS.SkillForce uses ex-service personnel to inspire children to succeed at school. Place2Be supports pupils with mental health issues and SportsAid helps to fund the next generation of sporting stars.
