Cindy Crawford shared a behind-the-scenes snap from a photoshoot

In the candid snap set in front of a wanderlust-inducing backdrop, Cindy looked every inch the style icon as she showed off her incredible figure in a knitted striped long-sleeved dress from Balmain's Autumn/Winter 2015 campaign.

Despite her hair and make-up already looking flawless, the American model was joined by a make-up artist in the shot, who was putting the final touches on her striking beauty look.

Fans immediately took to social media commenting on Cindy's toned figure and enviable looks, many praising the star for her ongoing successful career.

There's no doubt that Cindy is one of the world's most iconic models – her striking looks and recognisable beauty spot propelled her to international stardom and she has continued to wow fans, covering high fashion magazines and dazzling on the red carpet.

However, the star has previously admitted that she was initially made to feel insecure about her now world-famous mole.

"Apparently if it was on the right side it was a beauty mark, and if it was on the left it was an ugly mark," she told Into The Gloss.

"I would get teased by the other kids in school, so I definitely wanted to get it removed. But my mother always said, 'You know what your mole looks like, you don't know what the scar is going to look like'."

Cindy is grateful for her mother's advice, as her mole went on to become her trademark.

"Now it's just so much a part of my face that I don’t think, 'Oh, how's my mole doing today?' But it's the thing that made people remember me, and it made a lot of women who also have beauty marks identify with me," she said.
