Rihanna's highly anticipated video for Dior has been revealed. The 27-year-old stars in the fourth instalment of the French fashion house's Secret Garden series, filmed by renowned fashion photographer Steven Klein.

Rihanna stars in Dior's Secret Garden series

The video, of which a teaser clip was revealed last week, sees Rihanna exploring the Château de Versailles at night, wandering through its breathtaking gardens and world-famous opulent halls filled with striking mirrors and dazzling chandeliers. Clad in couture from the brand's Esprit Dior Tokyo collection and carrying a Diorama bag, the Bajan beauty is the epitome of elegance as she explores the grounds. She also shows off her edgy personality in a sequinned minidress as she dances through one of the striking halls.

The singer's fans were delighted to discover that the soundtrack to the short clip is a teaser of Rihanna's new song If Only For A Night, which will feature on her upcoming album #R8.

The star wowed fans when her print campaign for the brand was revealed

"In this short movie, [Rihanna] knew how to work with Versailles," Dior's chief executive office Sidney Toledano told WWD. "She has this kind of elegance – we saw it from the very first moment – and then she can surprise. She can be unexpected and we like it. It's part of this personality."

The We Found Love singer, who is the first black woman to become a spokesperson for Dior, joins a line-up of brand ambassadors including Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Mila Kunis and Marion Cotillard.

"It feels fantastic," she told MTV News when it was first revealed that she would model for Dior. "It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour. I think, to be acknowledged by Dior is just, it means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful, and elegant, and timeless."

This marks yet another milestone for Rihanna, who has been conquering the world of fashion for years with her edgy and sultry personal style. In December she further established herself as a force to be reckoned with when she was named the creative director of women's products for sportswear brand Puma.
