It might have been Sienna Miller's first ever appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, but the star looked completely at ease as she arrived on Wednesday. Looking as radiant as ever, the 33-year-old embodied the glamour which is associated with the glitzy event, dazzling in a Balenciaga gown.

The British beauty, who is a member of the jury panel at this year's festival, showed off her slender figure in a sleek taupe coloured gown from the French fashion house with off-the-shoulder sleeves and black panel detailing around the waist. She completed the look with a pair of black strappy sandals and wore almost no jewellery.

Although fiancé Tom Sturridge was not present at the event, Sienna was not left standing solo – instead she mingled with her fellow jurors including Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

It comes as no surprise that Sienna has already made quite the impression at the festival with her style. The Alfie star has made a triumphant return to the spotlight in recent weeks, after keeping a relatively low profile to spend time with her daughter Marlowe, to whom she gave birth in 2012.

Even before the festival had kicked off, Sienna was already making waves in the industry this week, looking every inch the Hollywood starlet as she arrived at Nice airport on Tuesday. The model was the epitome of elegance in a chic sleeveless cream top featuring pleated detail, which she paired with skinny black cropped trousers.

Her accessories were minimal but glamorous – she rocked a pair of tan suede peep toe boots and carried all of her travel essentials in a Saffiano London Tote bag from Kurt Geiger.

Despite fashionistas around the world looking to Sienna for style inspiration, the American Sniper star has revealed she doesn't think too hard about what she wears.

"I love fashion but I'm not obsessed by it" she told French newspaper Le Figaro. "I love work, my style, but I don't think only about that, even though some people want to believe the contrary. I don't wake up in the morning saying, 'Hmm, what an icon I am!'"
