Oasis collaborate with the Victoria & Albert Museum

High street retailer have joined forces with the V&A museum to bring to life some of London's most captivating 18th and 19th century prints. The celebrate the collaboration, Oasis held a star-studded launch at the museum with a slew of star guests including presenter Laura Jackson, who fronts the campaign.

The partnership is based around 11 beautiful botanical prints – all-selected from over hundreds in the museum's archive by the Oasis in-house design team. Each print has been artifully re-imaged and styled into modern-day must-haves. Pieces include this season's casual kimono style jackets, wide-leg high waisted trousers, culottes and midi skirts.

"It's been really inspiring to work with such beautifully painted florals and to imagine someone spending hours hand-painting them all those years ago," said Daisy Spurrier, Oasis Print Manager. In an additional collaborative twist, the collection also includes four printed pairs of flip flops from Gandys, the footwear brand setup by two brothers who were orphaned in the 2004 tsunami. 10% of profits from all flip flops sold will be donated back to the brothers’ Orphans for Orphans charity that builds Children’s
