Gigi Hadid shares her beauty and fitness secrets with HFM

"Before a shoot, I pray I don't get a pimple!" admits Gigi, who is the new face of Maybelline. "Otherwise I stick to my normal routine. Chanel does really amazing press-on eye patches that I use the night before to reduce puffiness."

In terms of preparation for big events, Gigi doesn't get a chance to plan too far ahead. "Usually red carpets crop up when I have something to promote or celebrate, so I feel like I don't have much time to prep," she says.

"I definitely strive to be a low-maintenance model. Some girls have their hair and make-up artist arrive five hours before an event, but I aim to do it in two hours max. I'm not trying to wake up at 7am for a 7pm event."

Gigi also revealed her fitness regime and opened up about her rise to superstardom in the world of modelling. To read the full interview, pick up a copy of the latest issue of HELLO! Fashion Monthly, out now!
