Hollywood's leading ladies dazzle for Tom Ford

Tom Ford has dressed most of Hollywood's biggest stars, so it seemed fitting that his Autumn/Winter 2015 show in Los Angeles saw a star-studded guestlist from Beyoncé and Jay Z to Gwyneth Paltrow stepping out to show their support. Meanwhile, with the Oscars drawing ever closer, Best Actress nominees Reese Witherspoon and Julianne Moore seemed to put aside any nerves as they were all smiles for the glitzy event.

Reese gave fans a taste of her feminine yet edgy style in a long-sleeved printed minidress featuring oversized black pockets, completing the look with a pair of black strappy sandals. The 38-year-old showcased her girl-next-door looks in minimal make-up, wearing her long blonde locks down in a sleek style. Meanwhile Julianne, 54, saw jaws drop as she rocked a dazzling sequinned long sleeved top paired with a floral patterned miniskirt. The mother-of-two chose a quirky bright green feathered clutch bag to complete her look, and chose a glamorous shimmering eyeshadow and black eyeliner combination for the ultimate evening make-up look. Julianne was not the only fashionista to choose sequins for the evening. Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Richie were just some of the stars who rocked embellished dresses for the glitzy show, while models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Naomi Campbell both went for the shimmering effect in striking metallic numbers.

Another major red carpet trend was a tailored suit, with stars including Amy Adams and Rita Ora opting for the sleek look. While Rita chose an all-white ensemble, Amy was striking in a bright red outfit, opting for no accessories save some sparkling jewellery. The BAFTA-winning actress showcased her natural beauty with a barely-there make-up look save for a hint of eyeshadow and nude lipgloss. Tom Ford caused a stir in the industry last year when he revealed that he would be showing in Los Angeles this season rather than at London Fashion Week, but the designer revealed it was a one-off, and revealed scheduling conflicts to be behind his decision. "I love London and I am not abandoning London Fashion Week," the 53-year-old designer told WWD. "It's a one time thing, it made sense for me, and I plan to be back in September."
